Converting from PNG to SVG and EPS

I've found a good way to convert PNG files to SVG, here: https://express.adobe.com/tools/convert-to-svg .

For conversion to EPS, I would think that Illustrator would work, if I use the SVG result from Express .  What would be the best settings in Illustrator while creating the EPS file, such that it will meet the technical requirements for Adobe Stock ?

Or, have you found a way to convert files to acceptable EPS files?

Thanks in advance.

PNG is pixel oriented, SVG is vector oriented, as is also EPS. Converting PNG to EPS or SVG is suboptimal and requires heavy editing. There is no push button solution. Graphic artists, doing sketches on paper to vectorize those, do that mostly the good old way, by drawing the lines in Illustrator.

If you have a correct SVG file, you load that in Illustrator and export as EPS. It's that simple. But you need to know that EPS is by far not a preferred file format, as it did not evolve in the past 30 (?) years and will not further evolve, as there are replacement formats.

If you want to submit vector files you must DESIGN them as vector. From the start. To make an EPS by auto trace would be forbidden, just as it is forbidden to meet the requirements for number of pixels in a raster illustration by scaling up. Auto trace is very easy, and if a stock customer wants to use it of course they are free to. Requirements for contributing vector art to Adobe Stock
