Question

Copyright infringement - DMCA claim time?

I licensed footage on multiple sites including Adobe Stock and Artgrid. Last week I found 284 of my shots from Artgrid that have been uploaded to Adobe Stock, Pond 5, and Shutterstock under someone else's account with only my footage. I submitted a DMCA claim to each stock site. Pond 5 took quick action and took the footage and account down in four days. I have not heard from Adobe Stock yet and am curious if anyone else has had any experience with Adobe Stock with DMCA claims. And if so, how long did it take for the footage/account to be taken down?

Here's the account illegally uploading my footage if anyone is interested: [moderator deleted the link, there is no need to post an external link]

If the claim has been posted correctly, Adobe takes immediate action.

(BTW: your link did make my browser choke because it points to an add or tracking site. You can post a correct direct link to the offending account if you want to.)

Adobe employees don't work on weekends & holidays.

How many business days has it been since you filed your complaint?

I submitted last Friday the 29th. No doubt weekend and holliday work hours contributew to a delayed response. I'm just impatient as I really dislike theives and with Pond 5 taking such quick action it would be nice to see at least confirmation from Adobe.

I wouldn't expect an official reply for several weeks until after the investigation completes. In the meantime, check your email spam folder.  You might receive an autoresponder confirming your claim was submitted.

This is just a guess as I've never needed to file a DMCA claim.

Good luck.

I'm suspect Adobe will take action as soon as they can. They are probably overwhelmed with other DMCA claims and account suspensions, especially the latter. I'll never understand why people try to pull this nonsense. And to top it off, once the account is de-activated, they'll come over here and ask why.

I can understand being overwhelmed with claims. But some sort of communication would be preferable to none. Pond 5 already removed the account and footage. Shutterstock at least sent me a generic email with a claim number. Adobe Stock? Nothing

I dont disagree with you there. It's an old saw, but did you check your spam folder? Even with my filters set to put Adobe emails in a specific folder, I still find some get sent to junk for some unknown reason.

Adobe usually takes immediate action on such claims. Did you follow the procedure described in this page:

Yes, I followed the guidlines and submitted the online form via this same link. I'm surprised to have not heard from them yet. I read somewhere not to submit multiple claims as it could slow the process.

You may not hear from them immediately, but check if the account is still on-line.
