Country map vectors rejected due to mistakenly taken as “similar content”

Hello All,
I've recently encountered a challenge with my submissions to Adobe Stock and would like seeking any advice. I submitted a series of country maps as black filled polygon vectors, but they were rejected due to “similarities” with other vectors. While I recognize the importance of diverse content in the platform's collection, I believe each map's depiction of unique political boundaries offers distinct value.

Given that country maps can appear similar, especially in a simplified style, it might be challenging to convey their uniqueness to the selection algorithms. However, each map represents a different country with its own geographical borders, which is a significant factor for users in need of specific country maps.
I have tried reaching out through Adobe's Contact Us page but have not received a response yet. I am curious to know if anyone else has faced a similar situation and how they addressed it. Have you had experiences where your submissions were mistakenly perceived as too similar but were later accepted after clarification?

Additionally, any advice or specific feedback on how I can make my map vectors more distinguishable for Adobe Stock would be greatly appreciated. What strategies or creative elements could I incorporate to enhance their uniqueness?

Thank you all for your time and any guidance you can provide. One exaple of the map is attached.

Best regards,

Ahmed

"Too similar" is one of the trickier and possibly least understood reasons for rejection. Contacting Adobe support for an explanation is fruitless, as there is no way to reverse a decision made by the moderators with the exception of re-editing and resubmitting. But quality in this case isn't the problem.

That said, have you tried submitting the maps in color instead of all black? That MIGHT help, but then again, since they're vectors--and I assume editable--the buyer can change the color to anything they want.

Adobe does not provide any avenue for you to dispute the findings of the Moderators, other than obtaining additional input via this forum, so it is unlikely that they will answer your query.

"Similar images" can mean similar to your own content or similar to others in the database. Have you searched the Buyer portal for other instances of "Lithuania map"? I think you'll find that there are other examples already accepted, virtually identical to yours.

In general, however, it is best if you don't submit a bunch of similar-looking or similar-themed images all at once. Moderators are under time pressure to review as many images in the shortest time possible, and I suppose it's possible that if they see a lot of simple outlined country images, they will not notice that they're actually different from each other.

Thank you vey much Jill C. You are right there are indeed other instances of "Lithuania map", when i searched it out. Though the color is slightly different but of course since it is of same country so it looks similar.

However, "Lithuania map" is just one of the example. I actually submitted more than 200 maps of each sovereign state recognized by UN. I am surprised that more than half of them got accepted and some maps (especially relatively lesser known countries) got rejected based on similar content. While famous or in other words more known countries like France, Germany, etc. got accepted. Anyway, thank you for your time and advice. I will try to follow your advice and need to think how might this looks differntly.
