Hi,

Question of contributor

Is it possible to create folders for very different types of videos instead of just seeing them displayed one after the other.

Regardless, the Stock Contributor's portal has no folders, only collections.

Collections can contain up to 1,000 assets.  And you may create multiple  collections. However, only two collections can be featured on your profile page.

Hope that helps.

You don't need separate folders.  Customers search the entire database with keywords & filters.  If you have images/videos that meet their search criteria, that's what the customer sees.  Proper keywording and descriptions are essential.

Searches are not only done by keywords, they are also done by going to the account of a contributor because one of his videos interested you.

If it was a video about Parisian monuments that triggered the interest of a potential buyers, he didn’t necessarily want to browse an account with in addition to photos of cats, cooked dishes, flowers or exotic fish. ( I’m not sure about cat photos )

I think this potential buyer will only want to see my photos of Parisian monuments.

We also buy a video by browsing a contributor’s account.

I’ll see what a collection is.

No, you can't create folders in your contributor account. You can, however, create collections. I don't know if that answers your question?
