Creating stock imagery that includes company logos

Hi there,

 

There are lots of images on Adobe stock that use company logos as seen in this collection

Is it fine for us to create still and video that use company logos like this, and sell them on Adobe Stock? We are interested in creating animations with social media icons, Instagram, facebook, twitter etc.

Ah, good catch, I missed the "editorial use" note. So, as I noted "Presumably the submittor of these images... was subject to a different regime. " Yes, the regime of the editorial image agency from which Adobe source editorial content.

You need to include property releases. Presumably the submittor of these images did so, or was subject to a different regime. EVEN IF you slip past the checking you would be liable because you assert you have the rights to sell what you submit.

Thank you for your reply.

 

Images featuring social media icons are frequently listed amoungst the 'top sellers' so are clearly very popular. I am curious to know the official Adobe policy regarding the issue as we do not want to waste time creating content that we cannot submit.
