Critique - Rejected Photos

Hi,

I'd like CC and/or more spoecific details as to why these images are rejected. "Technical Issues" isn't all that helpful.

Better composition would have helped in both images so that you don't have large areas of blurry objects in the foreground.

I can't see really sharp areas in either of them, and they also look a bit too dark and flat.
