Question

Cumulative Totals for Picture

Is there a way to find the cumulative total for a picture? How much money a picture has generated. If I find a certain subject is selling nicely I would shoot more of it. However I'm finding the information that adobe gives me is next to useless. This should be one of the things listed by a photo.

I've done a few searches before posting this but couldn't find anything covered so far.

Adobe provides data on this here https://contributor.stock.adobe.com/ru/insights/top-sellers

Below the chart you will see a list of your photos with the TOTAL amount of all sales (for choosen period). This is how much is earned on each photo IN GENERAL. There is no number of sales, but there is a total amount of all sales.

Yes thank you, I have been able to find that but it's not quite what I had in mind. I was thinking of total accumulated since upload.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding your question, but I can do that just by clicking on the AVAILABLE EARNINGS link in the upper right corner. The top sellers are at the top, with the earnings displayed.

You can do that for a given period of time.

You need to export your sales figures as a CSV file and to the math in Excell. However, that number is not that important. The number of sales is more interesting.

There REALLY needs to be a better way to display that. There's little information listed and a special column for upload date. Who cares about the upload date. I also have to disagree with number of sales. If it really hasn't generated any money it's not really worth much more work. It's the cumulative amount that will motivate any contributor to shoot more like it.

I'm in my eight year as a contributor, and I never needed that.

It's statistic. My bestseller generates the highest income on any periode of time. I generate around 70 cents per sale in average, my bestseller is not far away. The only time, when an asset generates more than the average is, when it gets selected for the free collection.

The number of sales makes your asset more attractive for the search engine, and that generates more sales.

Stock is all about numbers.

We should also be able to edit our own posts.

Yes but that's for the pay period. I want to make sure we're talking about the same thing. Your talking about totals for the pay period selected. I'm talking about gross accumulated for the picture.

On your Dashboard, click AVAILABLE EARNINGS on the top right-hand side. Your accumulated EARNINGS will be listed on the far right of each image, starting with your top sellers.

Users need a higher level before they can edit the posts. Curtesy of some, who edited back the NSW comments, as fast as moderators defused them.

Also, how do you edit a post once it's posted? Adobe won't seem to let you. Maybe I'm just missing it.
