Decrease in weekly limits and asset uploads

I have a question, why does the upload limit keep decreasing? Previously, the limit was 300, then it dropped to 100, and now I can only upload a maximum of 22 assets. Is there a way to increase it again?

Correct answer Jill_C

talking about ai photos

And that's probably because many AI Contributors are still much more focused on quantity rather than quality.....

Focus less on quantity and more on quality.

Instead of flooding the system with iffy assets, be more selective.

Submit 2-3 of your highest quality assets for review.

If they're accepted, rinse, lather & repeat.

The crucial information is that the new weekly submission limits for Adobe Stock contributors are not publicly disclosed and vary from account to account.

Key Facts About the Limits

  • No Fixed Number: There is no single, fixed weekly number that applies to all contributors (like 100 or 500).

  • Dynamic Limit: Adobe has stated that your personal submission limit is based on a variety of factors related to your account, including your performance (sales) and your approval rates.

  • Temporary Pause: When you reach your weekly submission limit, or the maximum amount of allowed content pending moderation, you will experience a temporary pause before you can submit more content.

  • Finding Your Limit: Contributors typically discover their individual weekly limit when the "Submit" button grays out and they receive the "Submission limit reached" message.

Adobe encourages contributors to focus on uploading their best, highest-quality work consistently to avoid hitting the pause.

The submission limits are designed to incentivize Contributors to focus on submitting only their highest quality and most unique work. The database now contains 839 MILLION assets, and after a couple of years of massive growth, primarily due to the flood of AI assets, Adobe has apparently decided to slow things down. The database has more than doubled in less than 2 years. In January 2024, there were 34 million AI assets in the database and now there are nearly 400 million. Adobe has been hearing complaints from Buyers that they don't like sifting through piles of poor quality and nearly identical images.

Whether or not we like the account limits and the sometimes flawed rejections for similars, this is the "new normal" here at Adobe Stock - at least for the moment.

This is why:

"We’re introducing updated submission limits for Adobe Stock Contributors to help maintain the strength and quality of our growing collection. These updates support the continued success of both our Contributor community and customers alike. When you reach your weekly submission limit or the maximum amount of allowed content pending moderation, you will experience a temporary pause before you can submit additional content."
