Digitally Manipulated Images Welcome on Adobe Stock?

Hello I have a lot of artistic work I was going to submit to Adobe Stock, much of it photography combined with intentionally obvious digital manipulations, but then read the submission guidelines and understood that anything with obvious manipulation would not be approved... “For your images to have commercial value, we expect them to be: [...] Processed inconspicuously”

Now I discovered the @15638849 page on Instagram, where I’m seeing a lot of surreal work being promoted there, with very obvious digital manipulation, so I’m confused??? Thanks in advance for clarifying

Usually guidelines are laid out to show you what is acceptable as against what is not. As time goes by guidelines are adjusted to suite circumstances, and situations. Even though guidelines changes, history does not. Therefore you may see traces of what was, but that does not make it acceptable in the present. The same holds true for Adobe. The Adobe Stock Contributor Guide at  https://www.adobe.com/go/stock-contributor-help is what you are to follow.

Images with minimal corrections are easier to sell. Buyers buy these and make their own adjustments, and/or editing. This is difficult with already heavily edited images. So images with special effect or obvious editing are harder to sell. I'm sure you'd like to see your images sell as quickly as possible. This is why Adobe accepts only images with minimal corrections.

Therefore it is very important following the guidelines.

Why not?

Make sure, that all used content is your intellectual property.

Maybe it's easier to sell pictures with minimal changes, but there is also a market for manipulated/surreal images.

Nobody knows when your picture is needed. And maybe bought.

Submit and wait.
