Do I Need to Pay Income Tax in India on Adobe Stock Contributor Earnings?

Hi everyone,

I have already submitted my W-8BEN form. I would like to know:

  • Do I need to pay income tax in India on my Adobe Stock earnings?
  • Should I report the gross earnings shown by Adobe, or only the amount actually received in my bank account after any deductions?

If anyone from India has already filed taxes on Adobe Stock income, I'd really appreciate it if you could share your experience.

You won’t get paid until you submit your Tax Wittholding form to Adobe Stock.

Adobe takes out the rate established by your region’s trade treaty with the United States. For India, the rate is 15%. See chart below.

Your yearly income tax is separate. Consult a local tax expert about that.
