I genarate pictures using AI. Then I take those pictures, fix their flaws, and sometimes combine a few into a collection using Canva. Even then, do I still need to put the Adobe 'AI-generated' tick/mark on it?"

If any part of your image contains AI, it's considered ALL Generative AI.

You can't claw back from that.

If you have the talent & skill, you can use AI as an inspiration piece for manually created artwork-- paintings, drawings or illustrations. That would be acceptable as original artwork.

Hope that helps.

Yes of course. If any part of the image was "generated" using an AI tool, it MUST be declared as AI. Even if you start with a real photograph from a camera, and add AI generated elements to it, it's then considered a Generative AI image.

The fact that you modify your images and fix the flaws does not unmake them AI generated. So as @daniellei4510 and @Star_Imaging say: absolutely and yes.
