Do you think this has commercial appeal?

I'm a little concerned that the blown out highlights in the sun will get it rejected. A little fringing, too. I don't want to risk losing my current 100% acceptance rate with something subpar ... but after working on this for awhile I think I'm too close to see any problems with it, so I've come to you folks 🙂

There are so many good sky shots out there that I wouldn't usually bother but for some reason I like the pink and blue and yellow combination here.

It's also noisy and has odd colors. There are already 23.5 million images tagged "clouds" in the database, so it's unlikely to ever seen by Buyers or licensed. Bear that in mind if you decide to submit. Nevertheless, by trying to achieve 100% acceptance rate you're probably leaving too many images languishing on your hard drive. It's okay to risk a little... An occasional rejection won't hurt.

Correct what @Jill_C said, if you can, and submit it. I never check how many assets of this or that are there.

And concerning your 100% acceptance rate: That should not be your aim. Having a few refusals is completely irrelevant. It's even profitable, as you can learn from them. As long as you do not submit scrap, and you know it's scrap it's OK. Some of my good selling assets were just submitted to see if the would pass.

There is a difference between taking pictures for a crowded subject or having a picture in a crowded subject. I have several flower pictures, one or two are generating some sales, but a specific one, which I would not have submitted according the decision flow here, is in my top sellers and generates regularly a sale.

Thanks. I was just a bit too invested in this image, but I think you're right – this is well-trod ground and there's no need for me to add to it. And yes, it is noisy.

I appreciate the advice and will follow it. Sometimes I just need a little reality check!

You're welcome. Sometimes a second opinion just confirms what you already knew 😉
