Don't want to make controversy, but, wasn't photography supposed to be a community?, i'm new here and made a valid question and i was shocked with some of the answers so much arrogance on some people

Is anyone here that think differently? some humble people around?, or everyone got too much of themselves? i’m really really impressed, and not in a good way. May be some cultural thing.

That was said in jest, because in truth, no one knows the perfect keywords as they apply to each photo. Of course everyone wants their images to show up on the first couple of pages of a search. But if everyone knew how to do that, there would still only be room for a limited number of images. It was impossible question to answer.

I am shutting down this pity party. It’s not relevant to Stock or Stock Contributors.

Stock isn’t social media. It’s a global assets business that services millions of customers who are also Adobe product users. As working design professionals, Stock customers have higher standards than average consumers. They expect high quality commercial-ready-for-use content. Nothing less will do.

If that’s not the vibe you were hoping for, maybe Stock isn’t the best fit for where you are right now. Gain some experience at other services first where the expectations are lower & content approval is easier for beginners.

    Good luck.

@ZALEZPHOTO @RALPH_L  this is exactly what i meant with rude people thinking they are better than the rest and overlooking, listen Nancy, with all due respect, you don’t know me nor my background or my level, you don’t know how much i make doing my photography job so you’re nobody to judge me or my work, i may or may not have more experience than you, i don’t know your age (and i don’t care) but clearly your lack of maturity and lack of respect are way bigger than your professionalism, i really wish you the best, and keep up the good work knowing it all, At the end of the day, you are not meant to judge who’s the bigger person here 😘

“you’re nobody to judge me or my work”

No one is judging you. But if you don’t want your images critiqued or judged, this is not the place to post them asking they were rejected. And no one has been rude to you.

I read your post and the replies you received. You asked why your photos were rejected and you got straight answers from Community Experts. I am sorry you felt that their replies contained “arrogance”. They simply pointed out reasons that moderators might have rejected your photos. As “Community Experts” we have been asked by Adobe to assist you in getting your photos accepted.

If you have any further questions about the photos you posted, feel free to contact me.

Thanks so much Ralph! as I said in one of the answers, i’m new on this, I expertise in advertising and lifestyle, also concerts and have toured with many bands big and smalls, so i’ve related with people from many countries, that being said i felt really left out by the way some people managed to reply. Those pics that were rejected were random pics i thought could work and wasn’t intended or shoot for stock photography and i needed answers just in order to learn, not to get schooled that way.

Thanks so much again, for your help. 😀

Ignacio, I understand what you are saying… the thing is that the community is for and by photographer’s… and the fact is that a large percentage of us have over inflated egos and most don’t know it.  On the other hand, keep in mind that there are also too many shooters asking why their photos were rejected… you try explaining why, and instead of thanking you, they want to debate you.

My best advice is that you become your toughest critic, understanding photography is a journey, not a destination… and your best work waiting to be created.

    Hello,

Are you referring to this forum or a general point? Regarding this forum, it isn’t a photo sharing forum, but for the purposes of getting advice on why a photo was rejected. For a photo community, there are other websites. This forum is focused on stock photography.

Hello Ricky, yes, this forum. I know the purpose, don’t need to be mr. know it all, i asked in a good way and as i was saying, wasn’t made to make controversy, i was just shocked by the lack of sympathy and that’s why I asked this. If you feel like I shouldn’t be asking anything just don’t read my questions. And i mean it with all due respect.

    have a wonderful day, Ricky.

Being a public forum, you can expect a plethora of answers, but don’t be surprised if some of the answers may be too direct. The way people answer can vary, and what words they may choose to answer the question. I don’t think there is a lack of sympathy in the answers given–I haven't noticed that.

I've been participating in this forum for about four months, and I can say that it's not difficult to find positive comments and constructive criticism.

But, as in real life, depending on the lens we're looking through at the moment, sometimes we see only the usual cowardice, vanity, selfishness, pride, and hypocrisy.

Right?, i had some really dumb answers hinting “if we knew we didn’t tell you” or “i’m not sharing my photos because they may get copied”. Can you imagine?

Yes, but I also understand their concerns. Copycatting is a real problem that affects all contributors. I don’t want to come across as a spiritual guru, but I believe the behavior you mentioned is common everywhere, and we're all learning how to deal with it.
