That happens. There may be seasonal effects, but the most probable cause is competition. If there are more and more assets, the chances that a buyer will download your asset will diminish.

Your only chance to counter this is to submit more assets, but that is a race that can't be won.

It's impossible to say why customer's buying habits change.

What is the URL to your Stock profile page?

A whole list of things can be taken into consideration: the heatwave, vacation season, growing competition, changes in assets in demand at any given time. It's not a question that can easily be answered.

Hi Armina, that's almost a rhetorical question that no one here can answer for you.

But your point is valid and worth discussing.

I've been here for 6 months, so I am new and don't wear the expert hat, but I will share a little of what I'm doing. So far I have uploaded about 1600 photos and 100 videos, and the last 30 days selling an average of 10 images per week, with weeks that I've only sold 2.

Here is what I have learned so far:

-Adobe wants work that sells

-There are multiple variables that dictate sale volumes

-One week is not indicative of a trend

-We may think what's going to sell well, only to be surprised low expectation assets do better

-I am almost sure that Adobe's algorythms track everything we do, and that the more we upload the better it's for us their "Partners"

Let me throw the question back to you, how many assets did you upload in the last 30 days?

That is a question that that all of us have total control over how to answer. If the answer is less than the previous months, that's part of the answer to your question.

Set yourself the goal of how many new images you want to upload by December 31, divided it by 6 months, then by weeks, and push yourself to reach your goal. If you love what you are doing, you are going to have a lot of fun in the process.

I don't doubt for a second it will result in more sales, and better understanding of what the market wants.

Remember the part of having fun in the process, without that I don't think this is worth the huge effort.  Have a great day!

Francisco
