You'll need many more than 14 images in your portfolio in order to start earning sales. You must continue to regularly build your portfolio with images in diverse topics with thorough and accurate titles and keywords.

Sure. Competition is high. Check the top contributors to see, how you can get high numbers of downloads. 14 assets is like having 14 grains of sand on the beach, and you are hoping that someone selects your grains to build the sand castle.
