How is the upload limit calculated? I currently have a limit of 500 per week. What day of the week does the limit start counting?

500 uploads per week is more than enough for one person.

Focus less on quantity and more on quality.

If you hit your limit, wait 8 days before submitting again.

I assume you mean "submission limit" not "download limit". Each Contributor's limit is different and is replenished on different schedules. If you carefully observe the pattern on your account for a while you should be able to figure it out.

We have no idea. It varies from individual to individual, based on a number of criteria.
