Duplicates of accepted images are coming back as new

I submitted a bunch of new images the other day and already received the email that they're all accepted. Somehow duplicates of those images are showing up in the New tab. Each image has two or three duplicates. What's going on?

    Did you upload these duplicate images in the last week or so while the system was experiencing upload errors? Others have reported that repeated attempts to upload resulted in duplicates. You'll have to delete them from your Uploaded Files / New tab.

      Have you cleared your cache? Tried a new browser? All that stuff that only sometimes work?
