Photoshop has so many powerful tools to assist you: Remove tools, Adjustment lays, and crop expand just to name a few.
Take a few minutes to remove those pesky distractions.

Your composition & preparation could have been better. In the future, practice stepping back from your subject to give it some space. 

For comparison, this is another Wayside Shrine in the Alps.  The photographer stepped back to give the shrine some context.  Notice the difference?

Cropped too tightly and the lighting is too uneven between the deep shadows and strong highlights. Taken at a better time of day would have helped.
