Hello!

I have been rejected several times images by Intellectual Property. Images are similar to these:

However, if you search the word "emoji" in Fotolia, you receive hundreds of thousands of results, some quite similar to mine.

My question is: can these types of images be uploaded or not? and why?

Thanks!

Hello MatHayward

Have you been able to find something?

Thank you!

Yes actually. My apologies for the delayed response, I appreciate the reminder. None of the photos were rejected for Intellectual Property violations. All the rejected files had notable technical problems.

Image 195157549: jagged edges on bottom of emoji

Image 195157468: jagged edges and two strange lines coming out of emoji (on top and left side)

Image 195124424: very shallow focus, only a small part of the jacket is in focus. A line on the right side and visible chromatic aberration.

Is this emoji yours? Did you design it yourself? If not, you would need a release for it. If you designed it yourself, then you would have to fill out a release saying it is your own work. Intellectual Property rights is a mine field, so you need to make sure everything is above board.

Ricky336, thank you very much for your response.

I have designed new emojis and prepared some images that I have uploaded to adobe stock including a Property Release. You can see two examples:

I have had different reasons for rejection, in some cases "image outside the rules", in other "technical problems". But the conclusion is that not even one of them has been accepted despite having designed them and included all the necessary releases.

It is possible that designing emojis can`t be done, but then ... why are there hundreds of thousands for sale in Adobe Stock?
