Escalation Request: "Multiple accounts detected" false positive — no response after 3 weeks (Case ADB-46176752-Y7Z3)

Hello,

I'm requesting escalation for a Contributor account case that has had
no response for 3 weeks.

Case ID: ADB-46176752-Y7Z3
Submitted: July 16, 2026
Account: 18028655707@163.com
Issue: "Our Account and Submission policy does not allow multiple
accounts" — all Contributor backend functions are locked.

What happened:
I accidentally created two Adobe accounts (one via VPN with US region,
one from China with correct region). I deleted the old US-region account
(susan.z.19880107@gmail.com) via account.adobe.com → Data & Privacy →
Delete Account. My active account (18028655707@163.com, China region)
remains locked.

Root cause (based on documented community cases):
Deleting an account on the frontend does NOT remove backend association
data — payment method, tax ID, and device fingerprint persist in Adobe's
fraud/account-linking system. This residual data is triggering a false
"multiple accounts detected" flag, even though the old account no longer
exists.

What I need:
1. Confirm old account is fully purged from the backend association system.
2. Clear residual payment/tax/device association from the deleted account.
3. Release the restriction on my active account.

Important: This is NOT a request to operate multiple accounts. It is a
false-positive lock caused by residual data from a deleted account. I am
a single legitimate individual (Chinese tax resident) and can provide
government ID to verify.

@Mat Hayward — if you are able to help escalate this case to the
Contributor Relations / account team, I would greatly appreciate it.
3 weeks without any response is concerning.

Thank you.

    @excited_artist199e

You’re shouting into the void here. Adobe employees don’t monitor this user-to-user forum. And fellow users here are powerless to help you with an account matter.

Due to local regulatory hurdles, compliance issues, and infrastructure constraints, users in mainland China are blocked from accessing the Stock Contributor portal as well as other Adobe services. Sadly, there’s nothing anyone can do while geo-restrictions remain in place.

Try submitting content to other services instead.

    Best of luck.

Thank you, Nancy, for your response. I'd like to clarify my specific
situation to check if it's related to the geo-restrictions you mentioned.

I am a tax resident of China. My current account (18028655707@163.com)
was registered from a China IP with region set to China. My old account
(susan.z.19880107@gmail.com) was accidentally set to US region (registered
via VPN) and has been deleted.

My case (ADB-46176752-Y7Z3) has been open for 4 weeks with no response.
The error I see is "Our Account and Submission policy does not allow
    multiple accounts."

Could you help me understand: Is my lock specifically because of the
China geo-restrictions, or is it a separate multi-account issue? If
China contributors are indeed blocked, how are other Chinese contributors
still selling on Adobe Stock (there are documented cases from 2025)?

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you all for the guidance. I have submitted a follow-up to
my support case (ADB-46176752-Y7Z3) requesting that Adobe formally
delete the old account on their backend and clear the residual
associations. Continuing to wait for their response.

You must use the “Contact us” link you are provided when you attempt to logon and request that the old account be deleted. You cannot delete an account by yourself.

Matt no longer frequents this forum, nor do any other Adobe employees. This is a contributor forum and we cannot be of assistance. If you have a case ID and have contacted Adobe, your only option is to continue waiting.

You will not receive any response to private account matters by an Adobe rep in this forum. Use the Contact Us link on your stock account page to reach out to Adobe on this matter.
