    Hello,

Firstly, as this is about selling photos with commercial use, how could these photos be used in a commercial setting?

Secondly, think about composition; this is very important! What is the point of the blurred picture? Slopping horizon in the sea photo won’t pass—composition as well as white balance. The bike photo—take care of your background!

    Also think about exposure!

So, there are quite a few things. Composition being an important factor.

    Composition

    White balance

    Exposure

    @Eduardo Bomfim,

    Welcome to Stock Contributors.

Stock customers expect the highest quality assets for use in professional projects.

It’s a shame you didn’t capture more of the old windmill’s details.

This is what you’re competing with in Stock inventory.

    • Is yours better than what Stock is selling?
    • As a customer, would you buy this asset for commercial use?

Those are a few of the questions you have to ask yourself when curating images to sell on Stock.

    Hey @Eduardo Bomfim

Sunset images market is super saturated… you would need to provide an image that is incredibly unique, crisp, and has a very unique story.

    The street image…

    • no point of focus
    • a lot of distractions

    The fish

    • my eye is wandering around the image. the clouds be reflected pulls my attention away.
    • the leaves are grabbing my attention.
    • consider this. there needs to be a specific spot where my eye can rest and take in such an image. The fish could pop w vignette, an levels adjust layer, and a curves adjustment layer.

    Cheers

    Nate

The first 2 images are not sharply focused. The third image has a leaning horizon and blownout areas.
