Feedback on Rejected Image

Hi, 

 

I'm new here and I resubmitted this image with this more conservative edit after the original was rejected for quality reasons, but the resubmission was reviewed very quickly (less than 3 hours) and also rejected for quality. I was wondering if anyone could give me any quick feedback about any obvious issues so I can try and improve moving forward. Thanks

Squirrels are twitchy creatures, even when still.  If you zoom in on the face, there's some noticeable blur.

Is yours unique in some way that sets it apart from all the rest?

Is this something you would purchase as a customer?

I would probably bring up the shadows a bit; however, after 2 rejections of the same image I would just move on...

Thank you for the feedback, I won't persevere with the image, I just wanted the feedback to improve going forward. I appreciate your reply.

Composition? Is there any particular reason why you gave it a square crop? This example is far from perfect, but it give a potential buyer something to work with.

Thanks, I can see that is a more interesting composition and the negative space allows room to work. I cropped my original image because some of the leaves around the edges of the image were out of focus, so i thought it would be beneficial to crop them out. Thanks for the feedback, I appreciate it.

Happy to help. I used gen expand to redo the crop. You might consider using gen fill (assuming you have Photoshop) to fix any leaves in the original.
