The image attached that I had submitted was recently rejected, and although I have a few ideas on the reasons, it'd be very helpful to get feedback to double check on why.

Correct answer Abambo

Your small sensor camera introduced artefacts, because of excessive noise reduction and sharpening.

(both seen at 200%).

I would also say that your DOF seems to be in-camera generated. If that is the case, avoid that.

Depth of field, image composition, underexposure, white balance. Raindrops or dewdrops are always a nice subject but......Stocks receives many images on this subject. They can therefore afford to retain only the best. I suggest you follow this link to see what is on Stock. After that it's only a question of technical mastery and objective self-criticism. Good luck with your next submission. https://stock.adobe.com/en/search?k=drop+of%27water+on+foliage&search_type=usertyped

Too much of the image is out of focus due to insufficient depth of field; indeed there are only 1 or 2 droplets that are kind of, but not totally, in focus. Additionally, the white balance is also a bit too blue.
