Feedback wanted - Photos rejected for quality issues

Recently submitted a few photos that were rejected for quality issues. Any help or suggestions on why there were rejected woudl be greatly appreciated.

Corn_1.jpg - overexposed, blownout sky

Soybeans_2.jpg - needs more contrast. I would probably crop out the sliver of green at the top

Hello,

Read more about exposure and composition. It could be improved.

Be careful of the lens flare in your corn photos.

Most of the photos are slightly overexposed and need to be sharpened. The white sky in the photos has no detail.
