Hi there.
I have reviewed this photo and cannot see what the problem is, technically speaking.. would you please help.. Bh Leonhansenfoto

Correct answer Abambo

I agree with @Nancy OShea about the exposure.

I agree with @daniellei4510 that the cup is disturbing.

I agree with @Ricky336 that (and others) that the focus is on the wrong elements. In general, I would say that the DOF is too tight. The hands are the point of interest in this picture, and they absolutly need to be sharp.

There is also some noise in the blurry parts of the image. You can do better noise reduction.

And then there is this issue, that I can't explain how this should have happened with your camera:

Hello,

Technically speaking, I think there are some issues. I would also say that the focus is rather misplaced. I find my eye going more to the person's arm (and hence out of the photo) rather than the foreground, even though that is where the focus is. It would be better to focus on the middle ground rather than the foreground.

You could also add a little more warmth to the picture. It is slightly cold.

This part of the photo is a bit distracting as well.

I would have removed the cup prior to submission.

The rear half is out of focus (blurry).

Stock customers can add blur effects after purchase, if desired. But they can't easily remove unwanted blur once it's there.

Also, your image is slightly underexposed (too dark).  See right side of Histogram panel.

Hope that helps.

Technically speaking I find it ok. There's a shallow depth of field, but ...

- Thanks for the reply! The depth of field is perfect for this picture, it's sharp and clean and ok! That's no reason to discard it! Do you want to upload it to the site, or should I upload it again? Regards. Leon hansen
