file checking

For a very long time, "first in-first out" within an asset category (e.g. Gen AI, photos, videos, etc.) was the rule of thumb. Recently, there have been many exceptions to that rule. My photographs are getting reviewed in less than 24 hours, but a handful of them are stuck in the queue for many weeks now. Adobe seems to be utilizing other algorithms to whittle down the enormous backlog of assets waiting to be reviewed, but they haven't revealed any details to the Contributor community.

It always used to be first submitted, first reviewed. Now they seem to be mixing things up. This morning I woke up to having 13 older images accepted (no rejections) and 3 images accepted and 2 rejected that I uploaded late afternoon yesterday. But no, no contributors here know why things have changed.

My GUESS is that some moderators are tasked with reviewing older images, while others are tasked with reviewing newer ones. But the logic of why escapes me. 🙂
