File not accepted previously accepted

I uploaded a file a few weeks ago that was accepted for stock (vector). However, when I reviewed the listing, I noticed a typo, so I decided to remove the file, correct it, and upload it again. This time, the file was rejected due to "similar content in the collection." I didn't change anything except the title font. Should I wait a while and try re-uploading the file? Why was the same file accepted and rejected?

At this point it's better to wait and try again in a few weeks. Next time don't delete, you can edit an asset tittle and add key words after it has been uploaded as many times as you wish.

Don't get discourage, keep creating more work.

Cheers!

In the future, don't delete files for such trivial reasons.  Assets are randomly assigned to the next available Reviewer.  There's no guarantee a 2nd Reviewer will approve the asset.

As others suggested, wait a few weeks to resubmit and use a new file name & metadata to describe the asset.

Hope that helps.

Your replaced asset probably landed in the queue of a different reviewer. There can definitely be inconsistencies in the review process, which is why deleting a previously accepted asset and resubmitting it with even minor changes can result in a rejection. If you're convinced that the asset is of sufficient quality and has no errors, perhaps wait a while and resubmit it again, with a different file name.
