Files not getting approved and no downloads after short break

Hello everyone,

I'm an Adobe Stock contributor and recently went through a difficult time after losing a close family member. Because of that, I couldn't upload any files for about 5 days.

Before that, I was getting regular downloads and approvals. But now, even though I've started uploading again regularly for the last few days, none of my files are getting approved, and I haven't had a single download. I'm actually working on vector and png files.

Is this normal after a short break? Or is there something wrong with my account or portfolio? I would really appreciate any advice or insight.

Thank you in advance!

What's your big rush?  Stock receives thousands of assets per week. It takes time to examine them all.

Review wait times have always varied by the amount of content ahead of yours in the wait queue.  And the number of Reviewers available to examine them.

Similarly, downloads are subject to ups & downs. This is summer vacation season. Most buyers are on holiday vacation leave. Things will pick up again in the fall.

Just felt concerned because my files usually get reviewed within a few hours. so this delay seemed unusual to me. Wasn’t trying to rush, just wanted to understand if it’s normal. Thanks for clearing that up.

Taking a break from uploading new assets will not have a dramatic effect on your sales. It is not unusual for sales levels to vary.

Then what could be the reason for the files not getting approved?

Review times are unpredictable and variable. I have images that have waited for months to be reviewed. There's nothing you can do about it.

Sorry fo your loss. There are several reasons that your downloads may have stoped. Ashort break in uploading is not one of them. Do not expect a steady stream of download activity. Sales are very irregular. That is why it is important to have a large portfolio of different subjects.

Then can u please suggest me what should i do now...It’s been 3 days now and my files still haven’t been approved. Normally, this doesn’t happen. They usually get approved within 5–6 hours after uploading.

There is nothing you can do but continue waiting. The normal wait time can be up to 8 weeks or longer, so you've actually been pretty lucky to have your assets approved so quickly, which is also common but not guaranteed.
