Im just getting started and I am sure this happens to newbies frequently. I have read the quality standards reference. I am trying to determine the reason for this image being rejected on technical issues. I am just getting started and would love to not waste too much time uploading shots that will get rejected. 

I really appreciate any input.

A great picture, but unfortunately the bee is not in focus. With such a picture, I would expect the bee to be sharp as a razor.

Also it has a blue cast indicating a white balance issue.

As Abambo mentioned, the major focal point of the image, the bee, needs to be perfectly focused. The DOF is too shallow, resulting in too much of the image out of focus, and the colors seem a bit over-saturated.
