Fist steps in submitting photos

I submitted a few photos. When I look at my profile and profile history it shows I have no files/ images uploaded. Is this because they have to go through a verification process BEFORE it shows them on my profile? If so, how long does it take to verify?

If they don't show on your Dashboard, Click on "Uploaded Files" near the top of the screen, then the tab labelled "In Review"; if they're not shown there, they could be in "Reminder" (awaiting property releases) or "Not Accepted".
