Flower image not accepted

Below is the message I recieved from Adobe and it seems to be very random some images it does not accept and others it does and personally I come from the Print and repro industry and I know the quality is good, I feel the depth of field it good in actual fact this one is really one of the better ones regarding content, colours and depth of field, than what Adobe accepted. Is this a random AI thing or do they actually look at the images etc. I'm really confused how they approve the images it really seems like its a luck of the draw. Also you cannot contact anyone from Adobe to find out what is incorrect with some of my images. I have content I would like to shoot but am pretty worried spending the money to find Adobe will not accept the content etc because of the message below...

"Thanks for giving us the chance to consider your image. Unfortunately, this image doesn't meet our quality standards so we can’t accept it into our collection."

Too blurry. Too blown out. It's not sufficient quality for commercial use, sorry.

Flowers are the single most over represented subject in Stock inventory. Stock has millions & millions of perfect flowers in every size, shape and color. Even if this eventually gets accepted, the profit potential for it is not high.

I would look for other subjects to photograph. If you need ideas, I've provided a list below:

I agree with @Abambo .

I don't think the DOF is that good either. Not enough is in focus. The DOF is too shallow.

Flower photos need the 'WOW' factor, and this image lacks it I think.

This is where this forum comes into play. You can get advice on why your image wasn't accepted 😊

First, I would suggest posting this in the Contributor forum, which is the correct forum for fellow contributors to check the pictures and to point out the problems. I will move this to the correct forum.

Second, pictures are vetted by humans, and they refuse on the first defect they detect. That reason is given to you, in this case it is technical issues, which means an issue with the image.

The picture indeed is nice, but you have overexposed the hearth of the middle flower (red is where the whites are blown out).

So, no, the refusal is not random but for reason. If you can correct that, you may try to resubmit. But you need to know, that there are numerous flower images in the database, so images like this will be vetted very stringently.
