FTP Upload Issues

I am having issues uploading images and video to Adobe via the FTP.  Over the years I've never had an issue and now I'm being given an unusual error which I can't resolve. 

 

For clarity, I have double checked the password, URL and all credentials. I've removed the account from Filezilla and readdded it. I have also reissued the password and tried to use that. 

 

I have no problem with logging in, but when I begin a transfer it'll start and then be rejected.

I would check with contributor support for this. You correctly connect and when you want to upload, it fails. I've tested it this very moment and for me, it worked correctly.

    Thanks, I contacted them and the issue has been resolved. 

     

    FileZilla basic does not work with Amazon S3 SFTP and it requires the Pro version to work. Alternatively Cyberduck will work if you don't want to pay for FileZilla Pro. 

     

    I have asked them to update the FTP guidance on the Contributor page to say that FileZilla free won't work, so that others don't have the same issue.

    I did test it and it worked for me with the free version of Filezilla. But it does not matter what program you use to upload your data, as long as it works.
