Correct answer Nancy OShea

To be a Stock Photographer, you must ask yourself these questions before submitting.

What is the subject?  Is it properly lit and focussed?

Who will buy this?  What will they use it for commercially?

Then compare your work with other stock images in your keyword category.  Is yours as good or better than what's represented?  Would you buy it?

Hello,

I suppose it was rejected for quality issues. However, there is also another category which is 'Lack of Commercial Appeal'; Unfortunately, I think your photo would also fit into this category. What is special about this image from a commercial sense?

Have a read of this from Adobe about how to create better photos:

You should always add the refusal reason. This, I would guess, got refused because of technical issues. For sure, it is underexposed, the white balance is too cool. Both happen often with snow images, because they don't fit into the standard scenarios for the automatic processings of the cameras software.

All in all, I fear, it is a picture with little value.

Hi @Анна272961903e1z,

That's a nice shot of a snowy tree. However, it is underexposed and noisy.

Best wishes

It is a bit underexposed, which is easily verified by looking at the histogram. I also see chromatic aberration. Focus is not sharp enough, and white balance is too blue/gray. I think the composition would have been improved by positioning yourself so that the building wasn't in the background.
