Help! Files stuck in moderation for over 2 months

Hi everyone,

I'm reaching out because I'm experiencing significant delays in the moderation process for my files on Adobe Stock. I uploaded a batch of 5 illustrations over 2 months ago, and they're still pending review. Additionally, I have another 6 files that have been waiting for a month, 2 files for 19 days, and 3 more for 10 days.

While I understand that the review process can take up to 8 weeks, these delays seem excessive, especially given the volume of content I've submitted. I've checked my files multiple times to ensure they comply with Adobe Stock's guidelines, but I haven't been able to identify any issues.

Has anyone else encountered similar delays recently? Is there a way to contact Adobe Stock directly about this? Any advice or insights would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance for your help!

By reading a little on this forum you will realize that many contributors are in the same situation as you. Some wait 3 or 4 months (or more) Don't worry, the problem is not on your side.

Stock receives thousands of submissions per week. There's nothing you can do about the backlog except wait patiently and work on other projects.

  • Take some online courses to improve your skills.
  • Update your Adobe Portfolio website.
  • Do some marketing on social media.
  • Contribute to other stock services.

Thank you for your response and also for your advice, but I already work on other platforms, not just stock services. To manage everything, a 24-hour day is no longer sufficient; I would need much more time. That's why I was hoping for a shorter evaluation period for submitted files, as it was much quicker in the beginning. However, as some of you have confirmed in your replies, the volume of submissions has increased dramatically, and the moderators can no longer keep up.

I have had several photos in the Black Hole.  I have found the by cropping or otherwise making a significat change to the photo, they seem to suddenly get review.  I have no idea why.

There's nothing you can do to hasten the review process. Many of us are experiencing the same delays, and all we can do is wait our turn in line.

Whatever you checked, it won't help you to get your assets moderated at a faster pace. As long as you can submit the files, you are fulfilling all the preliminary conditions for getting your assets moderated. However, moderation can take time, and many people reported waiting times well beyond the announced 8 weeks. There is no way to accelerate this. And it is not in relation to the number of submitted assets. It's simply standard procedure these days.

Contacting Adobe contributor support will get you a stock text answer. Many contributors are waiting, and there are millions of assets that are moderated each month. It's just that there are more submissions than the moderators can handle.

Okay, I understand, and I thank you for your response. However, I have personally noticed that the waiting time has increased significantly in recent months, now exceeding even that of my submissions. Probably, as you said, the number of submissions is so high that it surpasses the moderators' ability to manage them.

Adobe Moderators add around a MILLION new assets to the database every day, which means that they probably review considerably more. Review time is quite variable right now. I've had some assets reviewed overnight, others take longer, and some are stuck at the back of my queue for >5 months. There is nothing we can do to influence the process, so we just have to wait patiently.

Thank you very much for your response, but you know, previously it didn't take this long to evaluate an uploaded file, so after more than two months, I thought there might be some issue.
