Help on Photo rejected for technical issues

Hi all. My photo was rejected for technical reasons. Im new to photography but have been doing a lot of reading and practice. I would appreciate all your critical advice! I have attached the rejected photo.

Hello,

Your photo is underexposed - it's rather dark, and not very well focused.
