My name is Manuel I am from Chile Santiago, I want help to get my form w-8ben done, I do not know how to get the Taxpayer Identification Number, Foreign Tax Identification Number

Hi Manuel from Chile,

 

Foreign Tax Identification Number is the number or ID that your local tax office associated with you. Taxpayer Identification Number is what the IRS (United States tax office) attributes, if it is needed. If it is needed depends on your situation and best would be to have a different contributor from Chile helping you here.
