Help with why this image was rejected for technical reasons

I'm very confused as to why this photo was rejected for "technical reasons". It looks sharp, low noise, correctly exposed, etc.

Hello,

 

Just in case you are not aware, in the message box click the photo icon:

and then you can attach the image.

Just click 'reply' and post the image.

Correct, that's the button I hit. Then I select the file and click upload

Then I get this error:

 

Which I don't understand since I can easily upload the screenshot of the error

How can I not be authorized to upload the photo I have a question about but authorized to upload a png screenshot?

 

The text below the attach says Maximum Size 47MB and my file is a .jpg of 2.6MB, so it shouldn't be a size or file format issue, should it?

This time it worked by renaming the file name

So this is the file that was rejected and I'm trying to understand why

You won't be able to edit, but you should be able to attach a file to a new reply.

I can neither edit the post above nor attach my photo to it or to this comment. I keep getting "You are not authorized to make this request" as a response

 

Anyone have any suggestions? Google and community forum search yield no info
