@SERENDIFLIX,

Three basic strategies for success:

  1. Give customers what they’re looking for.
  2. Optimize your metadata (keywords & titles) for web searches.
  3. Build a diverse portfolio of 6,000 or more assets that appeal to a wide range of customers.

Lastly, feel free to promote your work on social media and Adobe Portfolio.

Sharing Adobe Stock Collections with Portfolio

Good luck.

Greetings! I appreciate the honesty in your question. The tips Yamato sent you is a good start for general tips.

Not everyone is at the same starting point, and that is something that needs to be assessed first.

Send me a DM and lets be more specific about where you are, why what and how you are doing stock photography.

Anyone is invited to follow through with that invitation.

Are you running a private consulting business on the side?  I ask because this isn’t the first time you’ve instructed users to contact you by private message (DM). Taking topics out of public view is generally discouraged here.

Adobe built these community web forums so that everyone can mutually benefit from SHARED information. Unless the matter involves sensitive data, it should be kept in public view. That’s the purpose of a community, to learn from each other. 🙂
