Hi, I am a German Adobe Stock Contributor based in Berlin. All I want is a simple declaration defining my income for 2025, which I need for the german tax office.

I dont find any valid information, where to get it. Would be great if anybody out there could give me a hint. ;-)
Best and thanks, Tommy

Unless your business received over $2,000 from Stock Royalty Fees in a single calendar year, Adobe is not required to issue 1099-NEC forms.

If you received payments via third-party payment apps (like PayPal, Venmo, or Cash App), they are required to send you a Form 1099-K only if you received over $20,000 across more than 200 transactions.

    Hope that helps.

If you have not declared it as a business “Geschäftsanmeldung” because you do not intend on making a profit and are only doing it as a hobby you are not required to submit an “Einnahme-Überschußrechnung” to the “Finanzamt”and you are not required to declare your earnings. Nor can you deduct business costs. The odds of you making a profit are very unlikely.
I also had problems getting a 1099. My attempts almost always failed. If you want to try, you can do it here.  Otherwise, you must contact adobetax@adobe.com.

You contacted the wrong forum, this is only contributors like yourself.

You already know how much you made last year selling stock, but do you know what was your cost  tto creating this work? I think its very important that you make a spreadsheet of all your related expenses, things like trips related expenses, and everything that goes into this.

But here come two options. -Email adobetax@adobe.com and clearly state that you need documentation for your German tax return. -Log into your Adobe Stock Contributor portal → go to your Account section (often under Tax Center) to view/download available statements, payout history, and tax form status.

    Viel Glück!
