Yes, there is a focus problem or better a DOF problem, but there is also an exposure problem:

The picture is underexposed. I would also correct slightly the white balance.

In addition, you should correct the noise level (1) and artefacts (2).

It's an interesting subject.

Needs more light, increased depth of field and sharper focus. See screenshot.

If you can reshoot this with better light & focus, it might get accepted. 🙂
