Hi everyone — Adobe Stock contributor (10+ years), GenAI workflow.

I've been building a small tool for brief → topics → niches → prompt sets. Before I invest more, I'd love feedback from GenAI contributors:

1) Do you plan niches in a structured way before prompting?
2) What's missing in your batch workflow (reuse prompts, keywording handoff, etc.)?

Happy to share a short demo link if useful — mainly looking for honest critique.

How do you decide a topic is worth generating before spending hours creating a batch?

With GenAI it's possible to create hundreds of images in a day, but choosing what to generate still seems like the hardest part.

I'm curious how experienced contributors approach that decision.

Do you use Adobe search?
Stock Briefs?
Sales history?
Google Trends?
Something else?

Has your process changed since GenAI became part of your workflow?

Homework:

Make random lists of things that interest me or that I need for personal projects. Keep a pocket notebook & pencil handy to jot down ideas.
Cross-check items & variations with Adobe Stock inventory.
1. How much similar content will I be competing with? Under 10K is good. Over 10 million is bad.
2. Can I distinguish this from other content in the Stock collection?
3. Repeat with other items on the list.

Thanks, Nancy — this is very useful.
One thing I’m still trying to understand: when you find a subject with relatively low competition, how do you decide whether that means a real opportunity rather than simply low buyer demand?

Do you look at anything else — recent sales, search trends, Stock briefs, seasonality, or mostly your own experience?

Some services are better at adhering to prompts than others. And since they all have their own rules, I always consult the service’s cheat sheets before attempting to write my own prompts. In my experience, there’s no one-size-fits-all methodology. One must adapt prompts to fit whichever tool they’re using.
