How long does it take for a photo to be reviewed

I sent in a photo for review a week ago, but nothing has happened yet. Is this normal or does it suggest something is off? Maybe it should be noted that I also added a picture of my ID a week ago, but as far as I'm aware I haven't received any kind of message telling me it has now confirmed my identity (nor that it wasn't accepted).
