Hi everyone!
I have a question for the community: I am a vector illustrator and I am working on a 4-page brochure in EPS format, which includes both illustrations and text.

However, I have a doubt: Adobe recommends converting all text to outlines, but I have noticed that some official Adobe templates contain editable text, which I find very useful for the buyer.

My questions are:

- Is it possible to upload a vector file with editable text?
- If so, should I use copyright-free fonts (for example, from Google Fonts)?
- If I use a font, do I need to include it with the EPS file? As far as I know, during the upload process it is only possible to submit EPS or AI files.
- Is there a link for contributors on Adobe where I can get clarification about this?

Thanks a lot for any clarification!

Adobe Stock doesn't accept Design Templates from individual Contributors. They source templates from trusted partner agencies & select artists by invitation only.

https://helpx.adobe.com/stock/contributor/help/design-template-requirements.html

Read the Vector Requirements below:

https://helpx.adobe.com/stock/contributor/help/vector-requirements.html

Customers will add their own regional fonts and languages after purchase.

Dummy text if any should be editable. No special fonts.

Hope that helps.

Thank you for your reply and your availability. However, I have a doubt that I hope can be clarified. In the guidelines I read that for contributors who want to upload vectors, the formats .AI and .EPS are allowed and that the fonts used must be converted to outlines. However, I read (I am also attaching the screenshot) in "requisiti vettoriali": Describing outlined designed text as "editable" - Outline your text and describe your vector file as having "replaceable" text in your title and keywords. So how can I describe in the title and keywords that the text is editable if Adobe explicitly asks to upload vectors with text converted to outlines?

Outlining the text makes it uneditable, so that is indeed a bad requirement from Adobe. You can't upload a font file, you only can upload EPS, SVG or Adobe Illustrator files. Somewhere else, they recommend using Adobe fonts, if you want to use text. They indeed can get be loaded automatically when opening such a file in Illustrator.

If you use Google Fonts, you need to pass on the message, but technically it could be considered as an error.
