Hy all! Could somebody explain why these images were rejected for quality issues?

Thank you. Just to clarify: are these the specific reasons identified for my images, or are these general quality criteria taken from the submission guidelines?

This image has lots of midtones but lacks contrasting shadows & highlights. 

Also, the white balance has a rosy pink cast.
