I uploaded this image to various sites and it was excepted, except Adobe Stock.  Can someone please tell me why Adobe consistently reject my images. Im not in anyway a professional photographer and try really hard to improve my images. Maybe Adobe have higher standards?

Hi @Ivan.Westbrook ,

It has a white balance issue. Too cool/blue tint. You can better see it when you zoom in. You need to see the rich red color.

Hello,

You have a white balance issue. I think this is the main problem. The white background should be white. Currently, it has a blue tone to it.

Thank you I really appreciate that.  I can see now but at the time on Lightroom it looked ok. May be I need to calibrate my monitor.

Yes your right I set my white balance for overcast skies on my camera, and forgot to change it to K 5600 for my studio Godox pro flash heads, I think this may have been the problem.

Thank you.

Hello! Nice idea. The main refusal reason is black tiny dirt spot under the heart on left side. Also may be "soapy", non natural look of vegetables. Look at them 100% and you`ll see. Also tomato stem is not in focus.

I like this one!  It has a lot of great things going for it.

I'm not sure if this is why it was rejected, but here are the slight issues I saw:

  • Placing the main subject off to the side with a 35mm focal length caused some of the veggies to appear a bit lopsided.  I noticed this when zoomed in on the tomato the most.  I don't think it's super noticeable but may be more so in a large print scenario.
  • I think the shadows are a bit harsh.  I would re-arrange the lights to lessen them if possible.
  • I think the exposure could use to be increased by a 1/3rd or 1/2 stop.
  • Everything looks really fresh except the stem of the tomato.

Like I said, these were minor issues and I love the concept!

Thank you for the great reply! I'm very grateful for the feedback and I am on a learning curve when it comes to Stock Images. My background is 35mm film but now I have changed to digital I have had to learn it all over again, especially software ha ha.

Perhaps because the background has a blueish tone?

I think the DOF could be a little deeper.
