Question

I counted my weekly Adobe limit (and that's sad)

So, everybody knows about new limits, right? But we don't have any numbers or transparency (again).

And, finally, I got the message saying "Either you have too much content pending moderation, or you’ve submitted the maximum weekly limit. You’ll be able to submit more once pending items are moderated or your limit resets." It resets the next day, and I could upload just a bit more, but one more day after, it's the same situation.

I decided to evaluate my weekly limit roughly, and it turned out that I can not upload more than ~250-300 assets.
The sad thing is that previously, I hadn't uploaded everything I had already prepared so as not to be considered a spammer.

P.S. If anyone is interested, I sell both AI images + real photos and videos.

Let's discuss the numbers, cos I'm curious about your situation, guys.

300 assets is sufficient IMO.

People who flood the Review Queue with 500 or more assets are just making the Review waiting process slower for everyone.

To be fair to all Contributors, Adobe should impose weekly or maximum limits. They should have done this sooner.  This time out gives contributors an opportunity to carefully self-critique their work and compare it with available Stock inventory.

Instead of focussing on quantity, you should be focussing on the quality of work you submit. That's better for everyone.

YOU WROTE: "I can not upload more than ~250-300 assets."

  • How many total assets have you submitted to Stock?
  • How many were rejected?
  • How many have sold?

Those factors impact your submission limit.

I have no idea what my limit is and don't expect to ever bump up against a limit. 250-300 a week is more than reasonable. I assume Adobe has made this change to incentivize Contributors to prioritize quality over quantity , so that's just what you should do. If you're generating thousands of images a week, assess them carefully and submit on,y the best and most unique.

Some people like to take their photos once and then post them in a package ,so 300 isn't enough for this kind of contributers

And 1000 to 3000 a week is too many for an AI contributor. This issue of submitting in quantity over quality has hurt both photographers and AI contributors alike.

Having 250-300 assets in the submission queue is enough. That means that the backlog will get smaller and smaller and that people will soon again be able to submit and get nearly immediate results.

You're frustrations makes It difficult to understand what's opinion and what is what Adobe has said to you.

If I understand correctly, you're complaining about not being able to upload 250-300 images per week...

it's unfortunate for you to have waited until now to speed up your contribution. And you seem to not be looking at the big picture.
This is not a get together tons of sales overnight, at least not for 99.5% of shooters. This is about developing the consistency And maintaining high standards of qualitiy in the work we contribute.
I am fine with 100+ images per week, that requires a lot of work just in uploading and naming.
I have my frustrations with Adobe's system, but don't think for a minute it's an easy process they have undertaken.

As a professional photographer, what I love the most is that I am falling in love with photography all over again.

i walk around with my camera and do it with passion.

Be the best photographer you can be, think of quality and not quantity. Long term goals and not immediate gratification.  And be patient, and kind to yourself, others, and the company that is making his possible for all of us.
if you develop the discipline and keep high standards, in 3-5 years you will enjoy the results of your efforts.

I am telling you this for the benefit of everyone including myself. Have a great weekend!
