Question

I have a question why half my pictures get rejected even though some even worse pictures get accepted?

Maybe because not everything is exceptionally sharp? But some wors pictures made it through.

    Hey @Cicadaexplorer

    GReat photo. I like cicadas.

    Take few minutes and take it into photoshop and remove some of the dust and dirt on the cicada.

    cheers

    Cicadas are very different from beetles.

    Why half my pictures get rejected, & worse pictures get accepted...

    ==========

    Supply & demand. Reviewers approved assets they thought would have the best chance of making sales at the time. Older, lesser assets were grandfathered in when Adobe had a much smaller inventory.

    Don’t worry about what came before. Focus on the present.

    • Is your composition better than what Stock is selling?
    • Is your visual & technical quality the best it can be?
    • As a customer, would you buy this image over other beetles in inventory?

    Hope that helps.

    Yamato is on point about the noise, but you might also consider opening up the blacks and shadows.

    I think the reason it was rejected is because of the excessive noise.

    That and the photographer’s shadows on beetle’s shell.
