Question

I receive 90% rejection due to Quality Issues

Hello, I'm getting 90% of my uploads rejected due to "Quality Issues." This sounds absurd, because I've been shooting photos for years, using a Sony A7CR 61mpix, a Sony 50mm f1.4 GM, and a Sony 100mm F2.8 GM Macro. The image quality is top-notch, and there are no flaws, yet for some reason my uploads are being rejected. Can you tell me what I'm doing wrong? I don't understand a thing.

    Hello,

    Composition could be better:

It is not a clear shot of the slater!

    Also here:

    It is not sharp enough!

3rd shot - White balance and composition - sorry!

    They could be improved!

Taking macro shots you have to be very careful with the depth of field!!!!

The depth of field in the first two photos is too shallow.
Photos with a wider area in focus are more likely to pass the review process.

Are the landscape photos at full size?
Adobe Stock checks images at 100% zoom, so even the slightest flaw will result in rejection.

The depth of field will be narrow; it's macro photography. I shoot at f/8, but I can't go any wider because I lose quality. I can focus stack, but adobe stock mark these photos as AI generated, which is of course incorrect, but that's a different issue.

    All photos are 9504 x 6336 pixels.

I have photos with a much shallower depth of field, yet Adobe Stock still approved them. If that were the problem, the platform wouldn't have approved them either. Besides, the landscape photos have sharpness throughout the entire image, and they weren't approved either...

Since I cannot see the actual image, I am unable to check for issues like noise, blur, or focus.

It is also possible that the composition was deemed uninteresting.
I suspect that might be the case with landscape photos.

As there are multiple moderators, there are bound to be differences in judgment.

You posted to the Stock customer forum in error. This belongs in Stock Contributors below.  I’ll ask an employee to move it for you.

I wouldn’t say these are flawless:

    • Narrow depth-of-field and blurred focus.
    • Stock customers expect sharp details at 100-300% magnification.
    • Compare your best work with current Stock inventory. This is what you’re competing with: https://stock.adobe.com/search?k=pill+bug

    Hope that helps.
