Question

I tried to upload a PNG image to Adobe Stock, but I’m unable to upload it successfully. Could someone please tell me how to upload PNG files correctly? I would really appreciate your help. Thank you so much!

PNG uploads were giving an error yesterday and the day before intermittently. The issue seems to have been fixed, though, as they’re working fine now.

When did you last attempt to upload a png? For a brief period of time, uploading png files resulted in an error message, but the issue has since been fixed.

Adobe currently accepts PNGs when they are prepared as transparent-background assets. Before retrying, I would check four things: true transparency (not a white or checkerboard background), sRGB color, 4–100 megapixels, and a file under 45 MB.

If this is an ordinary photo with no transparency, export it as a high-quality JPEG instead. If it is an isolated object, open the PNG over a dark and a light layer first—this quickly reveals a white fringe, leftover background pixels, or a fake checkerboard.

Then try one file in the web uploader. If it still fails, post the exact error message and the file dimensions; “unable to upload” can mean format, size, or a temporary uploader problem.

There is nothing different. Just use the “upload” button or use a ftp program.
Maybe you should tell us what the problem is. What problem are you having?
