I've been waiting for 8 days for my photos to be accepted on Adobe Stock, is this normal?

8 days? Oh, are you in for a surprise. 🙂 That is not long at all in the overall scheme of things. Some have waited 2 months or longer. Be patient. It takes awhile to get things moving if you're new here.

The message you receive when you upload is that review can take up to 8 weeks. Meanwhile, you can prepare more assets by editing, titling and keywording.

What is the average maximum waiting time?

We forum volunteers, who are Contributors just like you, have no way of knowing that. Some assets get approved quickly, some wait for up to 2 months. It all changed when Adobe started accepting Generative AI assets ~15 months ago, flooding the system with massive numbers of assets to be reviewed.

Thank you very much. It seemed strange to me; the last time I uploaded a photo was in 2020, and it took 2-4 days

In 2020, you did not have fellow contributors uploading thousands of assets per day, due to generative AI, that made it possible to create a would automatic workflow.

It all changed, and when you compare your old asset IDs with the new ones, you see how much assets have been uploaded meanwhile.
